Enertainment

Long before the West was written about, it was remembered through stories told around campfires, songs carried across the range, and poetry inspired by a life spent in the saddle.

The Sage Brush & Smoke Dinner Series was created to honor that tradition.

Each dinner features a carefully selected guest whose talents reflect the heritage and spirit of the American West. Depending on the evening, you may spend the night listening to an award-winning cowboy poet, enjoying the music of a local singer-songwriter, or discovering the work of a western artist whose craft tells its own story.

Rather than presenting entertainment as a performance, we invite our guests to experience it as part of the evening itself. As conversations unfold around the table and the sounds of the West drift across the water, our featured guest adds another layer to the experience—sharing stories, music, or artistry that celebrates the traditions, landscapes, and people who continue to shape western life today.

No two dinners will be exactly alike. Every gathering offers its own unique experience while remaining true to the values of authenticity, craftsmanship, community, and western hospitality that define Sage Brush & Smoke.

We hope you'll leave with more than a memorable meal. We hope you'll leave with a deeper appreciation for the stories, people, and enduring heritage of the American West.

Why We Gather

Long before Oregon became known for mountain towns, breweries, and recreation, it was built by hardworking ranchers, farmers, horsemen, and families who carved out a life from the land. Their values—hard work, hospitality, resilience, and community—became the foundation of this state and continue to shape the people who call it home.

Those traditions deserve to be remembered.

The Sage Brush & Smoke Dinner Series was created to preserve and celebrate an authentic western way of life—not as history, but as a living culture. It is our way of opening the gate and inviting others to experience the traditions that have defined generations of Oregonians.

Through horse-drawn wagons, thoughtfully prepared meals, cowboy poetry, western music, local artists, and genuine conversation around the table, we hope to share more than an evening. We hope to share a way of life.

Whether you grew up working cattle, riding horses, and putting up hay, or you're experiencing this culture for the very first time, you're welcome here. Around this table, we celebrate the people who built Oregon and the values that continue to endure: integrity, craftsmanship, hospitality, and community.

Our hope is that every guest leaves with a full stomach, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the heritage that still lives on across Oregon's ranches, farms, and open country.

The West isn't just something to remember—it's something worth preserving, sharing, and passing on to the next generation.

Welcome to Sage Brush & Smoke.
